I found this hidden gem while on a vacation staying in Groton, CT. Awesome atmosphere and I am telling you some amazing food to be served from a bar. I ordered a hot ham and cheese grinder. It was Cinco de Mayo so I drank Margaritas. They were delicious and they had a full liquor bar. The bartender was super nice and personable. They have a lot of Navy and submen patrons due to its to the base. They have TVs and pool tables and a very fun bar atmosphere. Pop in and have some good drinks and food. They also have an outsubmeneating area.

They had a kj there that was skipping people for his favorite and regulars. When asked about it he said he only did it 4 times ONLY !! then calls me up on the microphone in front of the whole bar !!! and tells me I will be kicked out if I don’t apologize for disrespecting the kj by asking why a bunch of us got skipped … seriously!!!so I got threatened that he would take me out of the line up … we left … I can’t believe they pay someone to treat paying customers like this … will never go back . Warning if you’re not a regular you get treated like dirt. The food was great and the bartenders amazing to bad the hired talent was not a nice person

Bartender was good. A little shy at first like didn't check on us much. But she warmed up when we kept tipping and spending 🤷‍♂️. Other then that I like what they've done with the place. Been going since the rotten apple days.

only reason they don’t get a 5 star is bc of DJ Res-Q - he doesn’t take requests and is rude to women… for some reason he only takes requests from men
