I tried the fish and chicken platter. The chicken was crunchy and good. The fish was flaky, but I loved the Hush Puppies.

With "BigBack" season coming to an end for me it was only right to stop at one of the longest running restaurants of the Shoals (30+ years) and counting. 1. Seafood Sampler was perfection! 2. The crispies is why we come 🤤🤤 3. Top the mac&cheese with the crispies to take it over the top 🤌🤌 4. The honey mustard had to be Johnny Fleemans little cousin 🔥

"Captain D's Please" Love coming here after church on Sundays or during the week for a quick lunch. I am a vegetarian but am happy with all the veggie sides they offer, they even have a "vegetable plate" on the menu. The inside is always sparkling and the store manager is super nice. Great team of working people, working together. Some of the best hush-puppies in town! And they sell Cheese Cake Factory's famous cheese cake

Okra is not cooked all the way through and the fires are nasty and cold shrimp is old and stuff crabs are old . And they charged us $32.00 for the food and it’s all old and nasty . We tried to call the store and no one will answer.

Food was good but just like 7/10 time s you eat at fast food they get your order wrong. Paid extra for premium sides and got fries and slaw. Very frustrating and makes you not want to go back.
