The front counter was slightly rude and a little unprofessional, with zero regard to customers when interacting with back of house staff. The fryer grease definitely needed changed it showed in the food quality. Almost twenty dollars for dirty tables, immature staff, overcooked hushpuppies and corn... undercooked shrimp... poor obnoxious service,dirty bathrooms.. just lousy all across the board. So 😥 disappointed

I went through drive through last night 2-7-2026 @ 9:21 pm ( 21:15 pm) I ordered 3 3pc fish ml fries, Mac & cheese. 1 4pc fish ml Mac & cheese, Mac & cheese. 6 cf cheese cake. 4 large drinks. My order was not fresh, cold, hard. My cheese cake was hard and not able to be eaten. I called the store today as of 2-8-2026 spoke to gentleman and he said he's a manager and they can't do a remake or a refund. Then why is this restaurant in business if they can't do remake or refunds if your order wasn't fresh or to your standards!? Isn't customer's always correct ? I have my receipt of purchase so what's the issue ?

The food chain I never knew I needed. Beginning with some complaints: the staff messed up the order for the seafood platter, but quickly made up for it by giving me the missing shrimp and crab cakes. The shrimp and crab cakes are decent...but the green beans and fried fish are amazing! As someone currently in California, I never knew I needed this chain. I could eat at this restaurant daily--that is not a joke. Though the order was wrong, staff was still friendly and helpful.

I don’t normally review chains but I visit the captain d’s about once a month for lunch. Each time I’m delighted by the speed and friendliness of the service. My food is either ready by the time I grab my sauces or being place on the table before I sit down. The food is fresh, hot, crispy, and cooked properly. Management is really do a good job of hiring and training people which is exceptionally challenging these days. I rated the atmosphere down a couple of point because the dinning room is showing wear since it’s last update. The prices are much higher but the portions and quality command it.

The food was fresh and great. We had an abnormally long wait time in the drive-thru, but it was almost closing time, but they made everything fresh.
