Great Seafood Market. Been buying Blues here for years. Always good prices a d quality. Amazing section of all kinds seafood. Crabs, crayfish, fresh fish, alligator and tons more. They also sell all kinds of spices to baste, saute, season and fry. Great friendly people that will speak shop with ya and give great recommendations. Convenient in and out location in Old Towne Mechanicsville.

Bought 2 dozen oysters yesterday. I'm an oyster snob and I can say without a doubt that these were better quality than whole foods

We used to buy crabs here all the time. They used to be good. The last couple of times we got crabs there we were very disappointed. You can tell these crabs were old even though we were told they were just cooked that morning. Some of the crabs were not even edible! We are going to look for somewhere else to get crabs from now on.

I've visited many times but my recent visit was disappointing. No seasoning on small old burnt cold crabs. I didn't realize they were cold when I purchased them. We arrived about 30 minutes after they opened. We called back and the woman who answered claimed that the ice cold crabs had been cooked that day. She then went on and on about how they had the lowest price around but I'm more concerned with quality.

I was pleased with my purchase from Captain Greg’s. I went in to get crawfish for my crawfish boil for my birthday. Mind you I had called around to numerous seafood stores and they had them available at the best price. It was convenient as the crawfish were frozen and prebagged by the pound. I was able to get in and out quickly with exactly what I needed. I also bought some crab dip and a roll of Ritz crackers. I thought the individual packs of crackers were ingenious and convenient- it saved me a trip to the store. The crawfish were delicious! I’ll definitely go back in the future. The young lady at the counter was very pleasant.
