Capri's Pizza Of Whiting

Good ole Mafia pizza place. lol. I think we misconstrued the sliced beef for the Philly steak. Do not…I repeat do not add sliced beef to the pizza. They should take that off as a topping. Should be for sandwiches only…if that. Spinach is cooked down spinach, not baby spinach leaves…our fault. Wished they had specialty pizzas, so new comers can have an idea of what to expect instead of creating their own combo. Poor lady on the phone didn’t know anything. To her defense, she did say she was in training. <<<sooooo…she really shouldn’t have been answering the phones>>> Hot wings spicy with lots of breading. Pizza was okay after pulling off the spinach and sliced beef…but that was our fault. They only prepared what we ordered…so

We live in the area, and this is the best catering around. Always delicious and always on time for pickup. The staff is fantastic, and the customer service is, too. There's something about this pizza that feels authentically Chicago while bringing a ton of pride to Northwest Indiana. Whiting has a food festival every year, and it's no surprise that these restaurants have a deep culture of providing award-winning flavors to the community. This place is no exception! Oh, and the prices are on point, which keeps us coming back very frequently!

Capri's is always a great experience. The food is fantastic, great prices and nice atmosphere. Have tried something different from the menu with each visit (6x). From pastas, pizzas to ribtips. Everything tastes great and we always have food leftover to bring home. We make it a must stop when traveling to Chicago from East of South Bend. Met, Bill the last visit. We was a gracious host and genuinely enjoyed conversation and sharing their family history. Nice to see a family owned business.

Ordered the catfish dinner with fries and it was tasty. Fast service and a nice selection of items on the menu. The dinning room was big with plenty of seats but it was empty when I was there. I will be back for the pizza next week.

Grew up eating from Capri on 86th and commercial. The pizza is still fiyah and the broasted chicken was seasoned perfectly, tender, and hot. Tried the stuffed crust (not a fan). The regular pizza is still good though .
