Delicious even as takeout! I tried this place for the first time through take out and wow! If it is good during takeout, I can’t imagine if I dined in! The bacon wrapped dates were amazing. The fish taco was good but I might try something else next time instead!
I visited this restaurant for lunch while my dog was at the vet clinic nearby. My server Kat was such a pleasure to meet. Thanks for helping me talk through that situation Kat! Your compassion meant a lot to me. The double smash burger and waffle fries were freaking amazing.
Food was delicious. Mushroom ravioli was excellent. Lovely ambiance. Would have liked server to check on us mid meal re: more drinks, dessert, etc - but their system had you place your order at counter so you don’t have typical wait staff. Definitely coming back.
Being a Newberry native it took me a while to accept such a Ritzy restaurant in place of our beloved Country Kitchen. However, the building is absolutely gorgeous, it looks great inside, and the menu isn't any more pricey than any other restaurant. I had the fish tacos, my partner had the double burger, and neither were up to par. The fish taco had way too much shredded lettuce, and honestly, had no taste. The fish alone was nice, but there wasn't nearly enough of it. The burger was well cooked, but the bun was soggy and they didn't hold the tomato (which was far too thick to begin with). The fries were great, but the sauce it came with must have been left out long enough to create a film on the top. You'll see the color difference in the picture. Overall the food felt mediocre for the sta
We got their just before they oppened up.Didnt realize you had to order your food at counter, no table service. Friendly lady greeted us as we came in.. The guy at the counter seemed flustered ,was on phone. Then first sign was no cauliflower bites, which wife was looking forward to. Ordered some cajun sweet potato fries, and sliders and a double smash burger. I love the look of the restaurant as it is in a.Historic building. Has that early 1900 vibe. They have a Happy Hour from 4-6 items that arent on their posted menu so look at the small sign posted on the tables.. also they posted up a sign in the front of their restaurant on the sidewalk after we entered with a bunch of other menu items that are on their regular menu. As far as our food goes, burger was average the chicken sliders, wet
