Lulu’s Gelato

I stopped by Lulu’s in Newberry and was seriously impressed! The shop may be small, but the flavors are big and bold. I tried the taro and it was amazing—super creamy with just the right balance of sweetness and earthiness. You can tell they put real care into what they serve. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole place had a cozy, welcoming vibe. It’s definitely worth the visit if you’re in the area. I’ll be coming back to try more flavors for sure!

Such a great little stand, too many favorites to name. The lemon sorbet is my favorite, creamy and kind of like an icebox lemon pie in a cup. I’ve never had anything here that was not carefully flavored and just exceptional.

Wanted to give a representative review but this is not gelato. At best it is ice cream and not that great. Prices are reasonable but do not think this is gelato. Waiting to find descent gelato is Gainesville, but should not expect it.

This is a hidden gem for sure. My husband is addicted to their Gelato. They have great flavor choices and are made in small batches... Unfortunately, they close for the winter but so thankful that I got to try their Bubble Waffle today. It was so good. <3

LuLu's was a great surprise! Owners were very nice. The Gelato is out of this world good. We stopped here to enjoy a dog break, and the back of the business has a beautiful shaded dog area. Try as many flavors as you'd like, and be sure to get a treat for the puppies.
