My husband and I had a fun, delicious meal at C29. We sat at the bar, and we were warmly welcomed by the bartender. When he gave us the menu, we were immediately struck by the incredible wine options available by the glass. I tend to drink more white wines while my husband prefers reds. We rarely buy a bottle of wine when we go out. It was great to see that we could both enjoy incredible wines from wineries that are both hard to find and, when you do, only available by the bottle. Food-wise, everything we ate was perfectly prepared and delicious. We could tell that a lot of time and attention went into the ingredients and their preparation. A exceptional dinner at C29 Restaurant. Every dish was thoughtful, beautifully executed, and deeply satisfying. The mushroom lasagna was absolutely out of this world — rich, earthy, and perfectly balanced, easily one of the best pasta dishes we’ve had in Napa Valley. The bass was cooked flawlessly: delicate, fresh, and elegant without being fussy. And the meal ended on the highest note with the chocolate soufflé, which was nothing short of spectacular — light, decadent, and unforgettable.C29 delivers food that is refined yet comforting, with a clear respect for ingredients and technique. Capo 29 is one of the Best of the Best on all levels! It was our Anniversary and we were treated like Royality!! It all started with Arthur, our server, who described our vegetarian options with enticing language and suggestions of the Chef’s specialities! Our atmosphere was romantic with a gracious welcome from Chef Bruce and his wife Shelly. Our dinner was amazing and all we had hoped for, and then topped with the most delicious Chocolate Souffle’! We highly suggest this experience to one and all!

Seriously the best pasta dish I’ve had since being in Italy. This place is amazing authentic and everyone was very friendly. I asked for a 2011 wine. They only had an older vintage but charged me the same price. Very nice. Would highly recommend

Had a fantastic evening here with Rick running the bar and Katarina hosting. We pretty much had the place to ourselves on a slow January night, and the service was private, personal, and spot on. We loved all of Rick's bar creations and the stories of the owner and knowledge of the area. The atmosphere was great, even though their spot downtown is only temporary. Food was also terrific, and they're one of the only (if not THE only) restaurants in the region that offers souffle for dessert. I will agree with others that it was extra pricey (it seemed everything in town from lodging to thrift-store clothing was priced sky-high). Given our private dining experience, the price was worth it. Looking forward to returning in the near future.
