Candie’s Crossties

Cute little place on the Railroad. Clean and new. Great potential. Food was VERY underseasoned. All tasted like it was from a grocery store. No salt, pepper, etc. Ordered a smorgasbord of different things, and it really does have potential, they just need to be bold with the flavors! In a cut throat business you have to be BOLD!

An unfortunate local let down. It’s so hard to find good places to eat anymore. The chicken fried steak was extremely bland and was mostly crust with barely any meat. The green beans tasted like sweet tea? Which was extremely off putting and weird (friend tasted them and agreed.) we waited almost 30 minutes for our food in a near empty restaurant and the mashed potatoes were barely warm. I won’t be coming back.

I really wanted to give this a better review!! But the burger was flavorful but the fries were super oily and soft and no salt. Very nice waitress and the sweet tea was perfect.

Chicken fried steak, came out quick, food was excellent! Definitely going to be in my rotation from now on.

I got the Taco salad husband got the chicken fried steak mashed potatoes & the green beans don't for get the apple pie. It was all good. We will be going back. Thank you
