Cancun Mexican Grill

I really wanted mexican food, being from AZ. I was used to good Mexican food. I've tried this place a few times, Unfortunately the first time I sent the waiter back so I could make my own guac. (Their's was very bland.) The second time I ordered ceviche, they said it would about 30 minutes. I understand it needs to marinade to cook the shrimp. They brought me the makings of ceviche with microwaved shrimp on top. WTH!!! I have given up on Mexican food in this town. I will make my own.

Twenty minutes to close I called to make sure we could be served. Bar tender said “come on in we will serve you”. We walked in and, it’s our first time here so we aren’t sure, so I asked if we just seat ourselves and bar tender says to just pick our seat and we will be waited on. So it’s a very laid back atmosphere. It was ten pm so only a few college kids were there. Waiter (I’m guessing was a manager or proprietor) was prompt to wait on us and very kind. We’d immediately had been served chips and salsa that my husband could have drank he loved it so much! Both were so fresh and chips were warm. A very sweet lady got us two horchatas that was the perfect choice to go with our food. My husband ordered a burrito that was ginormous, three tacos de asada. I ordered the (you pick two)combo wit

Great food, amazing service. I had the burrito and enchilada combo. My son had steak Street tacos. They were delicious! We will be back!

The service itself was a bit on the slow side but once we were able to order food, that came quickly. The food was flavorful. We had one of the burritos and tacos de asada along with horchata. The horchata was outstanding!

Food is always great, can sometimes get a little noisy and waitstaff can get too busy but love the food and will return again and again.
