Oaklawn Inn

We had a last minute change of plans that led us to stay at this BnB, we stayed in the beautifully decorated Blue Room, that was so cozy and had a fireplace. We enjoyed playing games and drinking coffee in the common area. Stephanie was a gracious host that made us delicious crepes and provided local coffee in the morning. She shared her vast historical knowledge of the area and house. Penny the dog was a cute and welcome addition to the experience. We will definitely be back if we’re in the area again!

This is a wonderful and comfortable historic location. The rooms are luxurious, clean and comfortable. Our host was attentive, knowledgeable of the local area and informative of the town's past. The homecooked breakfasts were excellent and snacks and treats were always available. I would highly recommend, and I will be staying here again in the future.

This was a very nice bed and breakfast. The room was very nice and comfortable bed. Stephanie was very knowledgeable about the history and she provided a great breakfast. Would definitely stay and recommend this place to others!

What an incredible place. Stephanie was an such a passionate historian at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. The history was fascinating (Thank you, Stephanie). Accomidations were incredible comfortable. This is a beautifully restored historic home with such a peaceful and serine setting. By the way Stephanie is an incredible cook. I will definitely plan on visiting again.

This place is terrific -- a hidden gem. The house is beautiful, historic and lovingly restored and maintained. Like stepping back into another era (but with modern bathrooms!). Super clean. The owner, Stephanie, could not be more gracious and friendly. She's a great communicator with an eye to details for guest preferences. And the breakfast was delicious -- and substantial! Everything you want from a bed & breakfast. This was, overall, a wonderful experience!
