Camino Real Of New Market

We were on our way to visit the caverns when we noticed this cozy little Mexican restaurant nearby and decided to give it a try and I’m so glad we did. The place is beautifully decorated, very clean, and instantly gives off a welcoming vibe. The staff was incredibly kind and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. We were served by this very lovely and kind lady, she is the best! They started us off with complimentary nachos and salsa, which were delicious; the chips weren’t greasy at all, and the salsa was so flavorful and addicting that we kept reaching for more. For my meal, I ordered the veggie fajitas. They arrived sizzling hot, full of flavor, and came with beans and rice on the side. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying. We had a very positive experience at Camino Real. We stopped by for dinner on a Sunday evening at 8:15 PM, mistakenly thinking they closed at 9 PM, but their Sunday closing time is 8 PM. However, the owner graciously welcomed us in and assured us they could still serve us. We ordered the Chile Verde, Enchiladas Suizas combo, and some tacos. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous; neither of us could finish our meals. The restaurant itself has a warm and authentic atmosphere, and the staff was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed.

Delicious Mexican food with an authentic homemade taste! The fish tacos and chicken flautas were amazing! The beans, rice, chips, and salsa were perfect. The owner shared that these were his grandmother’s recipes and that comes through in the amazing flavors. Staff were personable and welcoming. Our first visit will not be our last!

We were greeted warmly when we walked in. The server has a great sense of humor. Taco shells were clearly home made along with the enchilada sauce. The chips were hot and fresh and the salsa was not spicy like most restaurants. Give this place a try like we did.

The food was outstanding. All the food was fresh and authentic. Ice cold frosty mugs of beer. Loved that they had outside seating. We had Bailey the Wunder Doodle. They made her a hamburger. We sat inside. Going back tomorrow. ❤️❤️🐕🐕
