This is my closest local library and as much of a library connoisseur I can be, I’m lucky to have this one so closed to home. They are always fully staffed and the staff are great. They are helpful but never lurking. It’s small and not as large of a selection as the bigger libraries but this somehow adds to that cozy feel.

All librarians are so friendly and they have some interesting events for children. It’s very comfortable, and you feel like to be in a quiet home reading a newspaper, book and doing some research with a laptop without distractions. That’s a beautiful neighborhood library!

This is a public library attached to a school. They had all signs that made people feel welcome, I mean the rainbow flag, the BLM sign covering the school name. All in all, a very homely and normal place. And the selection of books, magnificent! I have not seen anything like that all my life! I think what people like best about the library is the exposure it gives to their children to people from all walks of life. The public can go in to the library, so can the kids, they can interact under the watchful eye of the staff, of course! The iron fence provides the same opportunity. Although there children interact without adult supervision. I am sure it is all very safe, they have experts look into this. And we all trust experts all the time.

The staff are amazing and very helpful. They're also friendly which is not common in many libraries. Not because staff are introverted in most libraries but because it's such a quiet place so it's hard to get a feel for friendliness. It's a small library but they are well stocked with every kind of genre, printing, and internet services. They also have meetups and kid friendly activities. The other day they had a gentleman explaining the logistics of fixing bicycles. Perfect for the North Cambridge area. It's located inside an elementary school. But you have your own entrance when entering the library.
