Cambridge Public Library - Boudreau Branch

Boudreau is one of the smaller CPL branches but it is extremely welcoming for kids, offering several activities for young children while of course welcoming and assisting people of all ages. The Cambridge public library system and its affiliation with the Minuteman library network is an absolutely tremendous institution. The resources of books, movies, and other cultural material is virtually unlimited. At Boudreau branch in Cambridge and other locations, the staff is always pleasant and very resourceful, and the neighborhood branches facilitate access to the material. If I have one critique it might be the absurd cost of rebuilding cambridge's main library which may have been disproportionate although the architectural result is admittedly quite pleasant. Our favourite neighborhood library. We used to come here for children’s story time. It is an excellent small library with movies, fiction, non fiction and a children’s area. The librarians are very helpful and knowledgeable.

It is really great to have a neighborhood library that is clean and full of light. The furniture is kind of uncomfortable if you plan on sitting and working there for more than an hour. I appreciate the casual atmosphere and feeling comfortable if I have to make a phone call.

It is a lovely library and charming too! It has good service and an excellent staff. I really enjoyed the mystery book club. I recommend it!

hreat people, great kids area with dedicated activities, but a small dvd selection (you can always order via the Minuteman Library Network online MNLlib - NOT the WOW intermediary link thats now popping up a lot).
