California Tacos delivers a delicious and satisfying dining experience, with a range of Mexican dishes that are both flavorful and fresh. One of the standout items on the menu is the nachos fries—an innovative twist on the classic nachos, where French fries replace the traditional tortillas, creating a unique and indulgent combination that is hard to resist. The tacos, which were once a dollar each, are also a highlight, offering great value for the quality and flavor. The restaurant is known for its extensive takeout orders, making it a popular spot for those looking to enjoy a tasty Mexican meal on the go. Whether you're dining in or taking out, California Tacos maintains its reputation for quality and flavor, making it a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Mexican food in the area.
You can never go wrong with California taco. This location has the friendliness staff and there service is quick. I get the steak tacos (soft) regular with passion fruit juice and it never fails. I usually do take out but they do have tables and chairs if you want to eat inside.
Great service as usual! The food is delicious and priced fairly. I highly recommend the veggie soft tacos! Also I really love how the restuarant is so nicely put together and the bathroom is always clean to! Thankfully I only live 5 minsup the street from this amazing little gem in Providence RI.
Great place to eat... Fish Taco's are the best. Shrimp Tacos are also very good. I've been a regular here for years. Prices have gone up recently but inflation has caused that everywhere. Still comparatively low cost way to get lunch. Not to mention good food.
Al pastor burrito was full of overcooked rice. It was hard and crunchy. Hardly any meat inside. My boyfriend felt bad that the burrito was so small that he gave me half of his chimichanga, which actually was fairly tasty, but the rice on the side was basically inedible. I definitely wouldn't recommend any dishes from them that contain a lot of rice.
