Caleb's American Kitchen

Stopped in for a lovely lunch and was so impressed by the menu (so many interesting choices!), the appearance of food at neighboring tables (wanted to sample everything!), the attentive, friendly service (my sister was welcomed back - just love it when repeat patrons are acknowledged!), and the delicious food. We enjoyed the salmon rice bowl and the tuna rice bowl. I can’t wait to go back! Thanks for a great experience!

I pass it on my way to work a couple times a month, and finally went with my sister to try it out. The place was simple, bright and clean. Staff and service were nice and attentive. Recommend making reservations in advance tho. I parked across the street since we were going to walk the shops afterwards. I wanted to try the frittata, but they were out. So I ordered pancakes with side of bacon and potatoes. Pancakes were so good by itself -could eat it without syrup! My sister had the eggs, bacon, and cheese grits. She liked everything but the grits. I would come back to try the frittata and/or lunch soon. It was a great start to a fun fall day in Peddler’s Vilage.

We had a wonderful brunch at Caleb’s American Kitchen! Since I’m eating vegan and gluten free right now, I was delighted to find a couple of great options on the menu. I went with the roasted cauliflower bowl, which came with sautéed potatoes, spinach, and chickpeas, topped with fresh salsa and avocado. The flavors were incredible, every vegetable tasted like it had just come from the garden, so fresh and vibrant. My family loved their choices as well. One of my sons had the special of fruit loop pancakes with bacon and eggs, which he really enjoyed. My other son had a burger that was cooked perfectly, and he especially appreciated that the fries stayed warm in the metal container throughout his meal. The food is fantastic, and the service is outstanding, all set in a refined yet casual dining atmosphere. The beef medallion was spectacular, and the cheese plate was beautifully presented. For dessert, the fruit crumble and salted caramel blondie were perfect. This is a fun place for a family dinner or a large gathering, and it's BYOB! I highly recommend it!

Probably the best breakfast food we have ever had. So flavorful and fresh! Nothing special about the atmosphere, but who cares when the food is this good. My girlfriend got the chicken apple sausage scrambled, and I got a seemingly basic breakfast quesadilla - both were absolutely amazing!!
