My wife, a friend and I tried this place tonight on a whim. Ita cozy little nook with a retro feeling decor. The owner, Evette/Yvette was a real sweet heart. Takes care of the guests. I ordered a Mimic Burger, with spicy guacamole on tostones buns-- a Vegetarian or Vegan burger if you hold the cheese, and a strawberry shake. My wife ordered a Hass burge, stick potato, ginger ale and a canoli. Our friend ordered the Try-Fries a combination of sweet potato, curly and cheese fries and sweet barbecue wings. All the selections were very good choices. I will try the Chickenless Waffles next time.

First of all, the folks at Cake Burgers are just incredible, down to earth, real neighbors folks. I could sit in there and talk for hours, but then l'd be jobless. The food is amazing. Best burger I've had in a long time: cooked perfect, seasoned just right, absolutely top notch. My chocolate shake was everything I ever wished it could be. Got that '50s malt shop vibe going on. Love!!! l'll be back! By the way....the whole custom designer cakes and desserts is a whole other story...to be continued… Yvette & family, you’re the best 🩷

American Burger and Curly Fries were Phenomenol! Highly Recommended for burger enthusiasts, anyone driving by or in the area, will not be disappointed. Staff is Friendly and atmosphere is like a time-capsule very Nostalgic

I got the crispy chicken sandwich and it was more than what i expected! The fries were crispy and their home made sauce was my favorite!! The owner had a cool shirt #Ilovejesus, I’d definitely come back!

*If you’re ordering to-go, call in your order!!! Don’t use Menuify!* Had 2 wonderful experiences picking up takeout from here! The restaurant is a feast for the eyes, the people are real NYers and care so deeply about what they do & this city at large, and the food is everything you’d want from a burger joint. The fries make me so happy 🤤 I spoke to one of the owners and she let me know that Menuify takes around 43% from the restaurant, which is absolutely insane. PLEASE call in and place your orders with the actual restaurant, it would help them out a ton. They haven’t upped their prices since COVID and in order to keep it that way, we gotta look out for them 💙
