Cajun's Seafood Restaurant

November 2026 visit... Came here 3 years ago and couldn't wait to get back, the first trip we came for lunch and stayed for a couple hours and went through multiple dozens of the grilled oysters, everything was great and 5 stars deservingly.... This second trip did pick up and only a dozen of the grilled oysters and good thing, 9 of the 12 had hard chunks of the shell which ain't good for the teeth let alone horrible to deal with unexpectedly, really sucks because they are cooked perfect and have a great mixture of Cajun seasoning, being their specialty no excuse for this to happen... Grilled chicken my kids loved but then the 1 pound of broiled shrimp they didn't clean the poop track.........

Unfortunately our family chose to try this for the first time on a bad night. They were having issues in the kitchen and were backed up, so it took almost three hours from when we walked in to when we walked out. There was a roof leak at our table (left from entrance, top of the stairs on left) that dripped water down. My brother resulted to putting his coat over his shoulders because of the constant drip hitting him. Once the food arrived, it was ok but not great. I had the fried mushrooms which had a taste/texture that made me think the oil was probably well past needing changed. I also got the seafood gumbo, which was fine but not very flavorful. So, a very disappointing night out and we likely won’t try it again. I will say that our poor waitress was great despite the kitchen issues.

Great oyster, very fresh and cold. The grilled Cajun oysters were very delicious.

Started with Gumbo that was more like okra soup some shrimp and very little sausage, very bland. The fried oysters was almost the size of fried clams and the coleslaw was just shredded cabbage without any dressing to speak of. Probably won't go back. I've had better meals from Jucy Seafood.

Food was awful as was the service. Very disappointed in the whole experience… Save your money Captain D’s has better seafood than this place.
