Food was great! I've tried their seafood gumb, Gator bites, and boudin balls. As well as the breaux bridge. The catfish was really good and flaky with an awesome crust and the etouffee complemented the fish very well. It was an amazing dish. The boudin balls were some of my favorites as well. Everything was awesome! I ended up buying some of their seasoning and it is really good as well. Definitely give it a try if you are in the area.

The food is above average. I highly recommend trying this place out. The gumbo is spiced just right and is very, very good. The restaurant has a down-home cajon-style feel.

Stopped in on my way across I-20 in East Texas. Bowl of seafood gumbo was great. Shrimp po'boy was pretty good; shrimp were perfect. Bread was okay (toasted dry). Tomato slices were very thick.

Order at the counter and then they bring your food out to the table. Very busy this night and had to wait a while to order. Food came out after a while. Catfish was hot and crispy and the crawfish was great. A little loud due to the crowd but other than that it was a nice meal. Staff were friendly and I know tired as they were working hard. I would like to go back when not so crowded. But we will go back as it was a great meal. Prices were $15 to $30 a person.

Fantastic service and food, fried gator especially was delicious, the breading used compliments the chewiness of the gator. Had the seafood platter as well, really good proportions for the price, especially on the crawfish serving, seasoning was just right on everything else as well.
