Best Of Texas Barbque Smokehouse

Found this little gem while traveling from Houston to Arkansas. Was leery when we pulled up, but was so glad we tried it! Doni and Marianne did a fantastic job helping us with the menu and the layout. The Brisket plate with Cowboy bean, deviled egg, and Texas Toast was so delish...they also have extras, like onion, pickle and Jalapeños, as well as Doni's amazing fresh made BBQ sauce! We also had the ribs, pulled pork and the potato salad. Marianne's special desserts were top-notch! We had her Italian Cream Pie and her Pecan Pie. Both were amazing! Wow! Don't gave us a sample of the alligator sausage and it didn't disappoint....yum! Overall, we were so happy with everything and would definitely rate it a 10 out of 10!! They are only open Thursday and Friday, 11am-3pm and Saturday 11am-

Brisket was tender and moist. The jalapeño sausage was really good also. Owner, Donnie, was very friendly....kinda place i love!

BEST BBQ in Texas!! Honestly best bbq I have ever had! Brisket was amazing, the sausage was homemade and great! Excellent customer service Donnie and Marianne making you feel like you are eating at their home. Home town feeling for sure. Don’t forget to get Marianne’s pies! The Italian creme was to die for! Whenever I am in the area I will make a point to stop by again!

When they say best in Texas, I think they meant it. It was soooo good. Hope I will be able to enjoy it again someday as I do not live close.

Mr Donny and his wife are some Of the nicest and most welcoming restaurant owners I’ve meet. The barbecue is off the charts amazing and the homemade pies are to die for. Def worth the trip to go and enjoy the atmosphere here you won’t regret it.
