The cobbler was great! I also loved the corn bread. It's nice that I can still go grab lunch at a mom and pop and get comfort food at a good price. I enjoyed it.

Our first time to try this little place with a big following! I ordered the hamburger steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans (Thursday special) and my husband chose a double cheeseburger. The food was served well, tasty, but the hamburger steak was barely warm. (my only complaint) Although they mainly serve through the drive through their are a handful of tables to sit and enjoy the Chritian music and hometown decor adorning the space. Pleasant staff, quick service, and freshly cooked food, how can you go wrong?

Home cookin comfort food. Excellent value, good sized portions. Lots of football memorabilia decorations. Order and pay at the counter, they will bring the food to you on disposable plates. Not fancy, but very good.

I got the double bacon cheeseburger and let me tell you; that burger is a religious experience. You get so much food that it's hard to believe it only cost $14. Everyone inside was incredibly kind and the atmosphere tells you how good the food's going to be before you ever even take a bite. Incredibly highly recommend.

We are on a cross-country trip from the east coast back home to California. Our overnight stop tonight is in the charming Texas city of Marshall, home of the Wonderland of Lights. After settling into our hotel room, we checked Google Maps for a good place to eat. Pic-N-Pay Texas Style Cookin stood out above the rest so we quickly left the hotel and headed for the restaurant. We arrived at the end of their business day and were going to take our food to go, but the people running the place (I assume they were the owners) welcomed us like we were old friends and persuaded us, by their friendliness, to stay and dine in their restaurant.
