This a small places that offers delicious, unique, authentic Italian sandwiches and desserts. We read about it last week and tried it today for a late lunch and it was SO GOOD! Both my sandwich and my wife’s were truly exceptional- so flavorful (annd large) and filled with fresh wonderful ingredients. We also picked up a couple of cannolis and apple cake for later (the sandwiches are so large there was no room for dessert in the same meal. So this evening we shared the three treats with a couple of friends and they too were impressed.
Absolutely delicious. Can't believe we've waited so long to try this place. I adore that the sandwiches are made fresh to order. The desserts were fantastic too. And, the service was quick and efficient.
Such a cute little place! No seating inside but there are several tables outside. The espresso is amazing. My favorite thing there is the focaccia sandwiches, particularly the Serafino and Dino. I haven't had anything like them anywhere else. Every pastry I've had was excellent. The cannoli is mildly sweet but my favorite pastry is the Maritozzo which is a brioche filled with cream. Everything I've gotten there has been excellent. The staff are all very friendly and helpful as well!
Caffe Sorrento is a must for anyone wanting a delicious sandwich with fresh Italian cuts of meats and cheeses, delicious cookies, cannolies and amazing freshly made focaccia. There is no seating and limited seating outside. Make sure to get there early before all of the good stuff is sold out. There's quite a few excellent sandwich choices and make sure to get a slice of fresh focaccia to go.
Perfect place for an Italian breakfast or lunch. I love their pizzitas. We will always be coming back. Here are photos from my moms birthday breakfast.
