Customer Reviews
Everything was so delicious! All the kimbap was great, but the shrimp tempura kimbap was the absolute best. Dipping the sweet potato tempura into the cheesy tteokbokki was amazing — the creamy heat mixed with the sweetness was perfect. I’ll definitely be back!
Cafe MiMi is such a hidden gem! We had the kimbap and tteokbokki — both were delicious, satisfying, and tasted just like authentic Korean street food. What we loved even more was that the food felt healthy, not heavy at all. The prices were very reasonable too, making it a perfect spot for affordable and wholesome Korean comfort food. There were so many menu options that it was honestly hard to choose — everything looked so good! We’ll definitely be coming back to try more. We’re so happy to have a Korean snack spot like this in Madison!
The food is so good I'm craving it again just thinking of it. If you have been thinking of going here, hesitate no longer because you have to try this cafe. I ordered the tteokbokki, it was delicious and made perfectly. The tteokbokki is full of flavor with mild spiciness and a hint of sweet. The rice cakes are large, and very good. My son got the kimbap, he loved it. I tried a piece and it was delicious, it gave a very fresh taste. He also got the fish cake, which he really enjoyed. The staff was very friendly and sweet. There is a small amount of seating outside. Be prepared to wait a bit when they are busy. They make everything very fresh, but it is absolutely worth the wait. I highly recommend this stop to-go or for a quick bite to eat if you can get seating. Otheriwse, you can easily
Such a cute and unique place! Kimbap, tteokbokki and corn dog were very delicious. 🤤 The chef (and owner probably) even gave us free pineapple drinks 🥹🥺 because we had to wait a bit (but it’s a lovely area, so waiting is not unpleasant). We will definitely come back to try other dishes! 🫰🏼✨
Cafe Mimi is a Korean snack restaurant run by a Korean owner and loved by fellow Koreans! The tteokbokki was so delicious that I finished every last drop of the sauce, and the kimbap was packed with fillings, offering a delightful mix of flavors in every bite. It was such a joy to feel like I was back in Korea after a long time. Both the regular and spicy kimbap were tasty, and next time, I definitely want to try the bulgogi kimbap.
