Overall it was a good experience! Crowded but cozy and local spot in a popular neighborhood. Despite the vibes the food did not hit the mark. Noodles did not taste like much. It was missing salt and flavor. It tasted like I was eating unseasoned noodles. However, they tried & didn’t skimp on the toppings (I guess). Points are mostly for the vibes !
is my go to spot when I am in the neighborhood. Everything I have had is so good. There is both comfort and uniqueness in the food that I have honestly not found anywhere else. Favorite dishes. The 19 Chili Dofu is incredible. I ordered it on a whim once and I am not even a big tomato or bell pepper person, which are the two main ingredients, but it is so delicious. I am literally hungry thinking about it as I write this. I also love the Thang and the momos. It is walk in only and often has a line. It can get a little noisy, and the bathroom is down a very steep staircase. Even with that, it is absolutely worth it.
Pretty small interior w/ a couple of tables. Got take out. Yummy Tibetan food! - Chili chicken ($15.99): 9/10, I really liked the flavor! Would get again - Chasha momo ($12.99): 7/10, yummy, but not as good as my Tibetan friend’s mom’s momos. Prob wouldn’t get again - Mango lassi ($5.50): 6/10, thick, but more yogurt flavor than mango flavor
You wouldn’t think much of this place from how small and run down it is. We went by on a Saturday night and it was packed. Quick turn around, got seated in 15-20min. Chili Chicken and Chili Bofu were best items we ordered. The Chai Tea Latte was also amazing. Would definitely go again. Quick and easy service. Super affordable for the area!
My friends and enjoyed the experience and food which was fast, informative and tasty. Our favorite was steamed beef mono dumplings. Honestly all of the beverages are incredibly tasty, we got both versions of lasso, Thai tea, Himalayan tea (very acquired taste reminding us of popcorn). The food was tasty, amazing prices. They add 4% service fee for a card use so that's something to keep on mind. Though I had a great experience!
