Cafe Continental

Hidden down quite a bit of stairs is a tucked away, pretty small, dark restaurant. Food was good - We started with the baked clams, which were a bit charred but delicious nonetheless. For my main I had linguine with clams (couldn’t get enough clams, clearly). The pasta dish was phenomenal - loaded with clams and garlic. We finished our meal with the NY style cheesecake (not on the menu) which we could’ve done without…Not the best but not the worst. Our waiter was lovely and knowledgeable, said he’s been working there for 20+ years. Feel as though I should note it would be very difficult for a physically disabled person to enter this establishment.

I’ve been dining at Cafe Continental for over 30 years and I have never had a disappointing meal. The staff, the atmosphere, everything is absolutely wonderful and consistent.

i love everything about this place. it's a classic, old school, italian american restaurant, with great dishes, friendly servers, a great vibe, and strong cocktails. it's not sceney but very authentic, i'll take this any day of the week.

The best very friendly and welcoming staff and the food and drinks is excellent I really enjoys the atmosphere !!!

I first came to Café Continental 52 years ago when I was a little kid. Had an incredible dinner there last night. Great service. Delicious food. Huge menu full of so many options. I can’t wait to return and plan on being a regular customer.
