Alessandro's Italian

My family and I just had a wonderful experience at Alessandro's Italian in Manhasset, NY! The Bronzino I had was superb, especially with the broccoli rabe and potatoes. My wife said the lentil soup (one of the specials) was delicious and our son enjoyed the chicken parmesan hero (also one of the specials). Our waiter Oliver was so professional with warm, friendly vibes. We loved the elegant decor and cozy atmosphere as well! It was also a pleasure to meet master chefs and owner, Alessandro (Sandro) himself and so cool to hear that Alessandro’s other master chef, Alfredo has been working with his dad for many years at different restaurants! I’m happy that both chef Alessandro & Alfredo and wonderful waiter, Oscar and friendly staff are all at Alessandro's Italian in Manhasset, Long Island!

8 artichoke salad was great. Egg ravioli special was great. Papperdelle mushroom and salmon with spinach were great. Spinach was great serving size. Favorite Italian in Long Island

This authentic Italian restaurant is a true gem! From the moment you walk in, you can tell everything is thoughtfully prepared and made with care. One of the highlights is definitely the homemade pasta — it’s perfectly chewy, full of flavor, and you can taste the difference in every bite. It’s the kind of pasta that makes you slow down and savor. Our family dined upstairs, and we appreciated that the second floor is accessible with an elevator — a nice touch for families or anyone who needs it. Alessandro's is hands-down the best Italian restaurant in NY. The homemade pastas are incredible-fresh, authentic, and give you a real taste of Italy. Every dish on the menu is excellent, from the meats and seafood to the wide variety of appetizers. The quality is consistently top-notch, the flavors are rich and traditional, and the portions are generous. The drinks and wine selection are also fantastic. If you're looking for a true Italian dining experience, Alessandro's is the place. This was my 3rd time dining here and can't wait to return. Highly recommend!

This was SO good. Everything was so good, from the bread/olives… the amazing artichoke salad (best I ever had so far), and the delicious pastas. After moving to the island, it was hard to find non-American Italian restaurants, had this on my list and I was glad that I was able to go! Def will be coming back soon! Service was great and very homey/comfort. It is a very small place and they do say it’s an 2hr dining so be mentally ready.
