The drinks like the juices and smoothies are top notch. I got a Pina colada and it was savored. I get a bakery haul if it's my first time going. Filling. And the cake had volume and a good fluff. And the other baked items all had fillings that were pulled into a thin floss like texture. I enjoyed exploring this authentic Brazilian bakery. I will be back to try more things!
Very friendly staff. The atmosphere could be better, some tables were dirty, but still manageable. The food was close to traditional Brazilian recipes and tasted good overall. It was a solid, average experience. They also offer a loyalty program to collect points, so don’t forget to ask about it if you plan to come back!
Great variety of Brazilian snacks in this bakery. You should try typical yummy bites like Coxinha, Kibe, Risole, and some sweets like Brigadeiro and Beijinho to close the experience. They also serve delicious local tasting beans soap, good for cold days. Highly recommended Brazilian food experience!
I was intrigued to see a Brazilian bakery when looking for a place for dessert after lunch in Allston. I love a good pao de queijo so I decided to give it a try. They have a pretty wide selection of pastries and breads, though there were no prices listed so I had to ask for the prices. The pao de queijo were 50 cents each, so I got 6. I also got a chicken sfiha and a guava turnover. The pao de queijo (50c/ea) were pretty good, and definitely a reasonable price. They are pretty small and irregular in size/shape. They were a bit stale and hard/dry, but were revived pretty well in an air fryer at home. They had a good subtle cheese flavor and had a lot of holes inside. Assuming they do make them daily, I think they probably taste great if you go early in the morning. Overall I would probabl
Typical Brazilian bakery experience with a solid selection of savory pastries. Stopped by a couple of times for light meals and found their mix of sweet and savory pastries to be quite good: Rissoles and Vanilla Donut. The Rissoles, which are essentially Brazilian empanadas, were particularly good—crispy yet soft, reminiscent of croquettes. Despite not being made fresh and kept warm in the display, both the ham and cheese, and meat rissoles were enjoyable. On the other hand, the Chicken Skewer and Chicken Empanadas were dry and less appealing. With numerous Brazilian pastry shops around the GBA, I'm not certain if Cafe Brazil stands out as a top option. Still, I would probably return for the Rissoles.
