Cabanas Coastal & Beachside Grill

I'm staying at the Dolphin Sands Hotel so Canbana's Coastal Grill is very convenient. It also happens to be very delicious! I've eaten there 4 times already . Everything was delicious, especially the Coconut Crusted grouper and coconut shrimp. The macaroni and cheese is THE best!!! Salad, potatoes, bread all yummy too. Good, quick service, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience here! The crab cake was listed at market price and came out to $25 — a bit on the expensive side, but the taste was decent. The French fries were awesome: crisp, well‑seasoned, and perfectly done. I also had a piña colada that really hit the spot and the restaurant had a nice ambience with a cute bar in the center. The place was clean, including the restrooms, which I appreciated. Our waiter even brought out a complimentary bun and butter — super soft and surprisingly delicious. Overall, I’d still recommend visiting this restaurant!

I must begin by saying the bread and butter is fantastic! Our server, Alicia, hyped them up and she wasn't lying! I also was surprised by how much I liked the boom boom shrimp. Very good. The seasoned French fries were good as well as the Cajun chicken. The chicken wasn't spicy which is appreciated. Unfortunately the mashed potatoes was very disappointing. They just seemed thin and kind of watery. I also wish their was an option to separate the mixed vegetables into those you want and don't want. If you visit, be sure to check out the prosthetic tail from Winter that Dolphin! It's in the hotel lobby.

Was staying at the Dolphin Sands Hotel connected to this restaurant. Decided to eat dinner here one night around 7ish. The place was pretty busy and this restaurant is also pretty small with about 6 booths and maybe 2 tables plus a bar area. Our servers name was Tia and she was very attentive to us and very clear and loud. It felt that this restaurant was a little unorganized and frantic. But this was the best meal I had my whole trip down to Tampa. I got the shrimp pasta and my mom got the salmon and it was DEVINE! The following night we came down again just to sit at the bar and our bartender was Alexx. And she was also very attentive and interactive with the customers at the bar as well as constantly staying busy. We loved watching her just do side tasks during her shift lol. But overal

Fantastic... all around! Our server was Candis and she went over the top to provide us an amazing dining experience. All dinners were phenomenal (fried grouper, herb garlic shrimp over linguini, BBQ bacon cheddar burger and grilled chicken/bacon/herb mayo sandwich) ... best meals we've had in Clearwater! We enjoyed the outdoor seating area and we will definitely be back to visit Candis and the amazing crew there!
