A nice tapas place. Service was friendly and very fast. I think we were in and out in 45 min on Sunday night. The two of us had four tapas dishes (see photos). The popcorn chicken and oxbone cereal pasta are def worth trying and very tasty. The tuna tartare and seoulsbury steak were fine, seemed pretty standard. We weren’t really sure what the Korean twist on those two dishes was. We didn’t order any drinks, but they did give us two small shots on the house. I would go back to try other tapas.
Incredible experience. Food was amazing and made with finesse and deep flavors. Service is quick friendly and you feel welcome right from the start. Menu is well explained. Atmosphere is packed but cosy - a very lively NYC neighborhood experience. I would come back any time - our highlights were the Steak with a cream that was outstanding, the Popcorn chicken, Pasta and Mushroom Bibimbap (little marinated button mushrooms for extra pops of deep flavor which we found genius) - must tries when you are there!
We were incredibly impressed at C as in Charlie. Every single dish we had was very good - 3 of them were exceptional. The mozzarella/green pepper with soy balsamic was insanely good, the ribs were melt in your mouth and the prawn roll delicious too. Service was excellent and the restaurant had a real buzz/warmth to it. Absolutely shouldn’t be missed. Surprisingly reasonably priced too.
While visiting the town, we met up with friends to catchup. I saw this place listed on the Michelin Bib Gourmand list and snagged a reservation. They do enforce a two-hour time limit for parties of four. As my friend was running late, the servers frequently reminded us of the time constraint. Fortunately, we finished our meal within the allotted time; I have never encountered a restaurant that did so many reminders about the dining time. This was the only minor drawback; otherwise, I would have given it a perfect rating. The mushroom bibimbap was exceptional; I could have easily eaten just a big bowl of that and been happy. The potato nuggets were also quite delicious, with the truffle aioli. The popcorn chicken, however, was not my favorite, as it seemed excessively sauced. The food po
Pretty good food and surprisingly great service! The food wasn't very frou-frou, just simple small plates done very well. Oxbone cream pasta was delightfully rich (but not overly so), seoul'sbury steak was peak comfort food, and the popcorn chicken was pretty standard chicken with a good gochu glaze. The dessert was also really delicious although a bit hard to eat. Drinks were good too, server brought out little samples of each thing which was great for my decision paralysis.
