Busy Lizzy’s Baked Goods

Perfect artisanal bakery! Everything looks amazing. I got a peanut butter brownie expecting the peanut swirl to be just blended into the dough, but instead, the beautiful swirl was in the rich buttery frosting. Underneath was a perfectly dense but still baked chocolate dough. I also got a gluten free chocolate chip cookie for my darling, and she totally raved about it when she got home. Friendly bakers, lovely shop, recommend!

Oh my goodness, what are you doing with your face still in your phone? Why are you not satisfying your face with Busy Lizzy‘s baked goods? I can’t believe I was able to pause and take pictures of the stuff before I finished it all. My girlfriend is on a zoom call right now and she is not going to be able to sample any of this stuff. I have an extraordinarily high standard for baked goods and I can tell you that this place is Worth the competition to “the place across the street.” Not pictured – two oatmeal raisin cookies that are now in my belly. I gotta tell you. The lemon drop cookie is final level. The chocolate chip cookie, and banana bread which are pictured here are also top-tier. The banana bread is probably the best in the area. Chocolate chip cookies are good too.

I make sure to stop in this bakery any time I'm in the area. The cookies are bars are always good but the peanut butter and jelly bars are truly next-level. The texture of the bars and cookies are always soft and perfect. They also have a nice selection of gluten-free offerings that my gluten-intolerant brother was very happy with.

My sister got the cinnamon bread pudding for Thanksgiving and it was DELICIOUS! Hands down one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. I expected something on the heavy side but it was fluffy, light, and perfectly sweet.
