Burrito Shak is not just a wonderful place to dine and fellowship with friends and family; it is truly a blessing to our community! As the Outreach and Marketing Director at the Harrison Family YMCA, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity we were given to host a two-day fundraiser in support of our Annual Campaign. From start to finish, Tyler was supportive, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping us make it a success. They have a great menu with wide range of selections with fresh and healthy options, a clean facility, and friendly staff! Burrito Shak is a fantastic addition to our community, and I highly recommend them, not only for great food, but for their heart for giving back. We’re thankful for partners like them who help us strengthen our mission and serve more familie

Hear ye, hear ye! Gather ’round, good folk, and lend thy ears! For this is the tale of The Day the Burrito Shack Did Betray the Brave Ninett. 🌯⚔️ ’Twas midday when hunger’s cry did echo through yon office halls. She, valiant of heart and armed with $15 and hope, did embark upon the pilgrimage to Burrito Shack. Long she waited—thirty minutes amidst the smell of promise and cilantro. But lo! When the sacred foil was lifted… tragedy. Frozen guac, cold as betrayal. Carne asada, saltier than the tears of a forsaken goddess. Her tastebuds, noble warriors, fell upon the battlefield that day. And thus we sing: “Oh Burrito Shack, thou bringer of sorrow, Thy guac was green, but not of life’s color. May future diners heed this lore— And bring their own guacamole, forevermore.” 🎶 Update—10/18/202

I accidentally went to their soft opening by ordering online while traveling. I am not a real food critic lol. Food was delicious with unique flavors. I got: The Sergeant Major chicken quesadilla - my fav of the 3. Gooey, creamy, some delish sauce?!? Good enough portion to be a full meal! The Aloha burrito - pork - pork had a Smokey flavor. Pineapple chunks are a great unique flavor - and a neat taste when combined with some heat!! and The S-turn - ground beef - love that it’s beef is an option, but I want to have to chew my protein more. Very easy to eat 😋 Chocolate chip cookie - seemed like it was baked for my order. Fresh out the oven goodness! This was like a homemade chocolate chip cookie, not the premade and prepackaged stuff restaurants often carry. Chips - also hot and delicious!

This was a refreshing change to other burrito places, especially for Rocky Mount. Fresh, quick, and very friendly staff. The assortment of salsa’s made it great too because if you aint sweatin’ it aint good. Build your own burrito with carne asada, lots of jalepeno’s and fresh cilantro, plus a nacho plate, drink, chips and queso for $28. The wife was pleased

So far I am loving Burrito Shack, it definitely gives Chipotle a run for there money. It's clean, inviting, and the staff are very nice. They have more topping options than Chipotle as well, there melted queso taste like actual cheese, their free chips are thin and crispy and I love the self serve sauce station. Only con I have is the meat portion are small. But if you if you are a fan of this type of cuisine, it's a must try...I add a pic of my bowl. I know it looks sloppy, because I wanted to try everything lol
