Burrito Bistro

I’m a Mebane local, and this is my favorite spot in town to grab lunch or dinner, hands down. The food is always SO GOOD and it is run by the kind of great folks who know the names of their regulars. Service is fast and always a pleasure. Their cuisine has become comfort food, with options for vegetarians and meat lovers alike. Hot tip: they make their own thick tortilla chips and they are to die for.

Amazing tacos, great people! I rarely leave these kind of reviews as it usually takes kind humans + great food, but this food truck absolutely has both! Hugo was so friendly, and the tacos were literally the best tacos I’ve had in North Carolina and I’ve been here over 10 years. I’m from California where we like our food as spicy and latin rooted as can be and it did not disappoint. It’s not Tex mex or quick tacos- they’re the authentic flavor you’ve been craving. This is the taste I’ve been searching for since I left the West coast. Do yourself a favor and stop by! (The handmade tortillas definitely made the tacos but the meat flavor was what sealed the deal, so you can’t go wrong with any menu item)

So good!! I wish I got a picture of the nachos before we dug into them, but we were too hungry. The nachos come in a pizza box, if that explains how loaded they are. Others in our group got the quesadillas and they were similarly amazing and hit the spot on a cold night. Hugo, the owner is very nice as well! Highly recommend.

Great food truck. Burritos & quesadillas can be sized small, medium or large. We got a medium quesadilla and it was enough to feed 2 people. Portions were good, the burrito was overstuffed and the prices were fair. Importantly the friendly service quickly served up food!

Super disappointing experience out of this food truck. Why serve a customer when you are obviously out of certain ingredients? Ordered a chicken burrito and got a rice burrito. 80% rice. Virtually no beans, there was no salsa as ordered, and I got like 6 chips. Dry as bone. Wouldn't recommend this truck at all.
