My family and I heard for a friend that this place was wonderful. So we ordered 3 shrimp Poeboys with cajun fries and an order of shrimp jambalaya along with an order of sweet potatoes. It might of just been because we came at 9pm. the shrimp on the poboys where extra extra crispy with to much breading on the shrimp they where just about burnt. it didn’t help that there was extra shrimp breading on the sandwich as well. Veggies were fresh on the sandwich bread has a light crust to it so it is not soggy. (Out of the 3 poboys we have about 2 sandwiches combined that ended up as dog treats.) It is large enough to share with someone else. The cajun fries are fantastic crispy with just enough seasoning. The Jambalaya is spicy with a thick tomato paste/sauce with tastes of peppers and onions
One of the best new restaurants in St. Paul. Everything we ate was delicious but the french fries were the best I've ever had! The bourbon chicken sandwich and the mac and cheese definitely were delicious and like nothing else in the twin cities. The philly cheese steak was like an upscale version with a twist but so delicious and flavorful. I think flavorful is the word for everything here, we will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
Had a wonderful lunch here. Bourbon chicken sandwich was awesome as well as their fries and sweet potatoes. The Philly cheesesteak and catfish poboy were also tasty. Portions are crazy big at this restaurant!
This is some of the best flavor I've had in St. Paul! The voodoo smash burger is delicious, a nice kick with a nice chimichurri style sauce. The fried rice jambalaya is packed with meat and flavor. And the chicken!! The sandwich was juicy and perfectly crispy. Go here now if you haven't yet!
Heard of this place at the Minnesota State Fair. Excellent service and food. #hearingfriendly Could hear the chef gently instructing new people in the kitchen. What a great teacher. The chicken was crisp. Tender and juicy inside. Best we've had. Clearly a gem in Minnesota. Has to be the best fried chicken in MSP.
