Burlingame Library Easton Branch

I think I have used the word "homey" to describe a few libraries by now, but the Easton Branch Burlingame Library is the definition of a homey library. With a warm aesthetic and charming decoration throughout, it truly feels like it belongs to the neighborhood. What stands out the most is the fireplace area, which has a rug and cushioned seating, and the mini garden area near the back of the Children's section, which was incredibly cute. The primary thing holding it back, of course, is its size. It is not a great place to look for anything specific, as the collection is limited. I also noticed that, while they provide computers, there is a lack of outlets for personal devices. Abundant in resources, books, DVDs, seeds and local events for exchanges. Thanks to the Burlingame Public Library, I no longer need a kindle or streaming subscription services anymore ^_^

Great library, great place for adults and children. Hours are extended: in working days it works until 9 pm. Everything is clean, quite, and nice. Internet is fast and it is not crowdy. I recommend this place to everybody.

Small neighborhood library in a beautiful old building. Not a huge collection but it's a good place for kids to come to do their research. This is a neighborhood gem.

A quiet refuge except as others mention, one librarian who cannot seem to whisper, she rattles on and on, just oblivious. i dont know how to tell her "shhhh" and she means no harm I suspect.
