Burke's Tavern

We had the best experience at this neighborhood spot. Hot honey wings were quite possibly the best we've ever had (and we've had a LOT of wings). Perfectly cooked & crispy on the outside. Also had the potato skins with even layers of potato, crispy bacon & cheese. Hand cut fries were delicious! Staff was friendly and attentive. Shout out to Brea for taking such good care of us as first timers. If we ever return to Mt Pocono, we'll be back & until then, we'll spread the word. Burke's is the best!

We had a delicious lunch. We had wings, quesadilla and corned beef sandwich. All 3 were perfect, large portions and great price.

Place was unbelievably filthy!!! Table was soaking wet upon arrival, food splattered on the walls, waitress was initially attentive- served our food asked if we needed anything else- we politely asked for bbq sauce and proceeded to not arrive again for another 30 minutes to check back up on us. By the time she arrived with the bbq sauce my boyfriend’s pulled pork sandwich was cold enough to have a pulse. Worst Philly cheesesteak I have EVER had completely greasy and more cheese than steak. Hopefully you like eating everything with ur dirty hands because they will not offer you silverware either (even for saucy boneless wings)

First time visit. Place was big. Huge bar lots of table seating. Waitress was friendly and very attentive. Food was okay..

We were at a certain resort that has a water park near Burkes Tavern we got tired of going to the sma e restaurants in the resort over and over and googled pubs near me Burkes showed we went and within 5 minutes of being in the pub we were engaged I. Conversation with customers they were so nice down home local's. Then Simon and Lyndsay took our order and wow super nice conversational to complete strangers from other parts of the country. True customer service and the food was good. You would have thought we had be going there for years. It was just our first night at a place that welcomed us. Amazing if your at the Kalahari in the Poconos stop in Burkes.
