Burke County Health Department

Every time I’ve came here, this place is always so clean and it smells so good in there. All of the staff are so kind and compassionate and you can just tell they actually care about their patients. I have to point out Darlene, I love her! She’s so sweet and understanding, I always enjoy talking with her. She makes me feel relaxed and comfortable. Great job Burke County Health department, yall are hiring the perfect employees!

This place was falsely rated. Let me just tell you now.... I went to 3 health departments in Augusta just trying to get papers for school. They were so busy, with lines out the door before they even opened!!! Well a friend at work recommended the Waynesboro health department and I told her I had overlooked them because of their ratings. She told me to give them a call so I did. They got me in the same week that I called. All of the ladies are super sweet. Well there is one front desk lady that's a tad moody but the ladies in the back are amazing. I now use this facility regularly. They always get me in the same week, it's a clean facility, I never wait long and since I have to pay 100% out of pocket because my income is too high to get a discount, the ladies help me find discounts for payi

Wow! I went with a friend to an appointment he had and witnessed the most horrific service ever! If these old people are not able to work or don’t want to, retire and give some young people a chance to do the job they can’t or won’t do! This lady obviously DID NOT want to be there! This world as we once knew it is gone! Back in the day, customer service was EVERYTHING! The Customer was always right (even if they wasn’t, we had to treat em right!) Unreal!!!!

I have never been more disappointed than I am today I got tested June 26, 2020. Their documents say 3/5 days for results. I finally ended up at the emergency room today because I was so sick and I couldn’t even tell the doctor or nurses my symptoms I called and got blaza answers . This is our life and it’s up to you to give us straight up answers. By the way, it’s after 5:00 pm on the fifth day.

I may have been too hasty to judge and i was in a rush but the lady who attended me was very sweet and apologetic. She did her best to make sure i left with all of the information I needed to make an informed decision.
