Lou's on Liberty

We were meandering the backroads of Georgia today taking our time and taking in the beautiful scenery. Around 11:00 we started getting hungry and after checking the Google reviews we settled on Lou's on Liberty. We got there before the serving line opened up. Already patrons were in and waiting. We knew this was going to be soul food at its finest. While waiting we got to meet Gary, one of the co-owners of Lou's. What a fantastic guy. Lots of fun chatting with him. Finally, the line was open. I move pretty fast, but several people got up to the serving line before I did. I ordered the fried chicken and selected cream corn, blackeyed peas, yams and corn bread. My wife ordered ribs, cream corn, butterbeans and hoe cake. We were in heaven. Our conversation stopped while we took in some del

My grandma and I randomly decided to stop here after our initial lunch destination was closed. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The chef made some of the best sandwiches we've had! If you're in Waynesboro and want a great lunch, you need to come to Lou's. We will definitely be coming back!

If you tired of them tiny Chinese wings you gotta go there. I had the Congo They were amazing. No store bought ranch they making it or got a wingstop plug it’s good.

My hunting partners and I were just talking about how one of our favorite Meat & 3 joints in Waynesboro is no longer open on weekends. Lou's on Liberty saves the day with fresh, delicious food, and a great staff who helped me out when I told them that I had just found out that I am gluten sensitive. I highly recommend them

Man we loved small town setting in which Lou is settled in. We walked in the door and greeted kindly, waived on in by Rob the chef. He was excited about offering us the home cooked meal already prepared. It was plentiful, very tasty and we wanted seconds except I would've needed help getting back into the truck. Rob was personable the waitress was very nice had a great smile and payed good attention to us. Oh yep and the tea was some of the best I'd ever drank. That's saying a lot from a 58 year old SC resident. We will be back 😀
