The food is the reason why I’m there. I love how the seasoning were just right, nothing too crazy or under seasoned. Although it would’ve been a little nicer to have better seatings, ones where you can lean back on. The staff was kind but she often disappears to the back. Whenever we needed something, we had to wait a little longer. Although the food was good, we ordered fries as appetizers but it came as the last dish (after we finished our main course) I don’t think there’s a point for us to order those as appetizers if it comes out last.

Bunsik is the kind of place that reminds you why Korean comfort food holds such a special place in people’s hearts. The name itself, 분식 (bunsik), traditionally refers to casual everyday fare in Korea simple, affordable, and soul-satisfying dishes that students, workers, and families turn to when they want something hearty but not complicated. Sitting down here, you immediately understand that spirit. We began with fish cake soup, known as eomuk tang or odeng guk. Fish cakes have long been a staple of Korean street food culture, often simmered on skewers in big steel pots at outdoor stalls during the colder months. The broth is typically a blend of anchovy, kelp, and radish, creating a savory base that gets richer the longer the fish cakes soak. Here, the soup arrived steaming hot, with te

Extremely disappointing experience. The cleanliness was unacceptable: 1.Plates and cups were sticky and had a strong greasy odor 2.Chopsticks had visible black stains 3.Overall tableware hygiene was far below basic dining standards When I politely raised the issue, it felt as if I was disturbing the staff member at the end of her shift. The female staff did not come over to check the tableware at all. Instead, she stood at a distance and, with a visibly arrogant and indifferent expression, asked, “So where exactly is it dirty?” Until the male staff came and we finally changed our chopsticks. There was no attempt to inspect, apologize, or address the concern from her. I took photos as evidence. This is about basic food safety and minimum service professionalism. I would not recommend din

Great service and great food! It was empty my boyfriend and I we were surprised it was, because this is a hidden GEM! :D the server gave me and my boyfriend a soju shot and we felt welcomed.

What is this packaging? My order arrived wrapped in tin foil and stuffed into what looked like a leftover plastic bag. For a paid food delivery, this is completely unacceptable and felt unhygienic and careless. Proper packaging is the bare minimum for food safety and customer experience. This came across as very lazy & unprofessional and honestly concerning from a food safety standpoint - it really ruined the whole order. I hope the restaurant reconsiders how orders are prepared for delivery in the future.
