Very local, great atmosphere. Be patient and enjoy the old school friendly vibe. If you want a jazzed up rehearsed presentation, go elsewhere. My bbq sandwich was great. Noticed lots of folks getting fried catfish. They had sold out of burgers. I will go back, great change of pace.

Food was excellent 👍. Service was amazing and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The only bad thing I can think of was not discovering this place earlier. If you are looking for food made with love and soul, do yourself a favor and visit them. The price was excellent as well.

What a great culinary experience! Old fashioned shack of pure Southern goodness. Ribs were fabulous with or without sauce! Beans were good, too. The tea had a good tea taste, not sugar water, but very sweet. The service was just downright friendly! The atmosphere was enhanced by a genuinely happy vibe from customers and staff. Empty when I arrived, full as I left. It is worth the drive if you are anywhere near. Back again...GREAT catfish....you are missing out if you haven't gone. 5* is easy! Make it 6! Update: Add meat loaf to the greatness.

Great little place to eat. The food was good, my wife said the hushpuppies were a little small(agreed), order extra if you get fish dinner. Overall, we'll eat there again! Probably do the karaoke on Saturday with our son sometime.

This little gem is one of a kind. It is all family owned & you can tell they care. I come from Birmingham & eat here when I'm in town. The bbq is out of this world. But I would eat there no matter what they served just because they are so compassionate & put all their love into their customers and food. You're instantly family when you walk in & it feels like eating a home cooked southern meal with my Granddaddy. I'll always be back as long as they're in business.
