Brooklyn Dumpling Shop

We ordered the chicken and scallion dumplings, and were given a mostly empty box filled a third the way up with a sad mixture of shredded scallions and strange little dumplings. The dumplings had skins that disintegrated in our mouths offputtingly the way frozen ones do sometimes, and contained cabbage. We’re still not sure if they served us their pork and cabbage dumplings or if they somehow gave us off-menu chicken and cabbage dumplings. Regardless, this presents some concerns. The empty takeout container this was all served in didn’t fit down the in-store trash can either. The lychee lemonade was pretty good, but overly sour ordered at 50% sweetness. We recommend ordering this full sugar.

Everyone who worked in the store was nice and patient, and the dumplings were yummy. Always nervous about eating fried food/dumplings with my allergies (peanuts) but staff pointed out the risk items for me and mentioned there wasn't peanut oil or risk of cross contamination and honestly the folk here were really great for Friday night. 10/10 would come back again.

Great little place! The food was delicious. Got the Peking dumplings and hibachi noodles. Food and service were amazing. Will definitely be back the next time I visit the city!

My family and I were looking for a new, comfortable location to have lunch when we came across Brooklyn Dumpling Shop. The atmosphere was very comfortable. There was a very kind hostess that assisted us with our order as the experience was new to us. ... Free soda refills.... We will be back in the future.

Sooo tasty!! Not your typical dumpling but still super yummy. The classic dumplings have a nice crunch to them. Great spot for a quick bite and staff is also super friendly.
