Customer Reviews
Ate at Broma's for 1st time during lunch time on a Friday. Only a few patrons in the restaurant. Very few!! NUMEROUS employees. Was sooo surprised to see so many employees with NO patrons!!! I had the Reuben sandwich with broccoli salad. My husband had the Philly Cheesesteak and pasta salad. The Reuben was crispy and hot. My husband's cheesesteak had SEVERAL chunks of gristle and fat. The sides were very SMALL servings. 2 sandwiches and drinks almost $28!!
Food was slow coming out of the kitchen with a lot of employees present and not so many patrons. Once the food arrived it was so-so. Had to move from one booth to another due to a weird smell on the upholstery.
Take out Mac Daddy Spuds ordered on two different occasions for two people each time. Potatoes were cold bricks that appeared to have been baked the day before and maybe microwaved for our order. On the first occasion we assumed it must have been a bad day. On the second order it appeared to be a pattern. We ate in recently and both had fried chicken salads. The greens were discolored and both of us had grizzle in our chicken. Three strikes. We won't go back.
I’ll start by saying the burger wasn’t what I order but it was still delicious and I had no regrets. (Anyone wanting me to visit your place- I’m honest) I got the green tomato burger rather than the fried green tomato blt and a bowl of gumbo. The burger was delicious (again it was not what I ordered but they offered to remake it but I was low on time.) The real hero was the soup of the day- GUMBO! Y’all don’t sleep on the gumbo. It was so dark, full of meat, favor and authentic. I usually go to Broma’s when I visit Brookhaven so this one in the McComb mall was new to me but the Gumbo is worth the trip.
Found this little gem passing through. It's sorta like a McAllister's but way way better!! More of a family restaurant vs a corporation. I had the Reuben and my husband had the Muffaletta. It has a Home town feel with the most helpful and friendliest staff. I will stop here again.
