Bridgewater Inn at the Historic Glenview

What a gem in the heart of Mount Carroll! We had a wonderful stay at the Bridgewater Inn-this historic building has been beautifully cared for while still keeping its vintage charm. Our room was immaculate, quiet, and very comfortable, and you can tell the owners take real pride in the details. Maria was an outstanding host-warm, helpful, and always available if we had a question or needed anything. We loved being able to walk around town and enjoy the small-town feel, including the new coffee shop and a great meal at Molly's. There's so much local history to explore, and it's an easy drive to Galena and the surrounding areas, making it perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Excellent historic inn that was restored to 1880's decor by the hosts! The inn hosts were very accomodating and helpful! This inn is in the heart of historic Mount Carroll, Illinois and only a 12 minute trip from Lake Carroll. Mount Carroll is a growing town that offers many things to do year round. Bridgewater has very reasonable rates and parking is plentiful! We will return!

It was a great stay at Bridgewater! The rooms are immaculate and Maria was always available. Cute little town with a new coffee shop and great food at Molly's. Alot of history in Bridgewater and not far from Galena! Great weekend, thank you!!

Excellent vintage hotel restored beautifully to 1880's decor by the hosts. This hotel is very reasonably priced with a great location in the center of Mount Carroll and only 12 minutes from Lake Carroll. We are looking forward to our next stay!
