The food and service were great! The staff was very nice and accommodating. They put the sauce on the side because one of us couldn't eat it and it worked out so well. We loved the fried avocado tacos and the poutine fries with meat on top. We went on a Saturday night and we didn't have to wait for a table. It was a nice atmosphere and family-friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

Really good burgers - they are huge! At happy hour you can get a smash burger that’s a bit more manageable for those of us with smaller appetites. Fries are the best around, so crispy and served in a cone so they stay hot longer. Wish I had gotten our server’s name, she was delightful. And nice of the owner to come out and make sure we were satisfied.

Recommended to me by a receptionist at a nearby office who said she had "heard good things" I opted to try BRGR Bar for lunch. She was right...it was good things. I tried the fried pickles as an appetizer, and there were SO MANY that I wound up sharing with a couple of military guys who had come in for lunch. They were much appreciative of the flavor and texture as was I. I had a thick strawberry milkshake to drink and it was AMAZING. Thick, smooth, creamy. 5 out of 5 no notes. Then the burger came...I ordered their original BRGR...two smash patties with pickles onions lettuce and tomato with their house special sauce...plus I added bacon. I was in town for the Women’s Worlds IFPA pinball championships and it was my first time in Portsmouth. BRGR Bar was close to my hotel and the venue so I frequented this spot while I was in town due to the proximity. The staff was kind, accommodating, and prompt with their service. They were able to give friends recommendations on local beers from the area to try and they have a solid happy hour menu for a reasonable price — a burger and fries for $10 was great so I snagged one of those one day (sorry, no pic). The following day we had a tournament break so I popped back to snag a chili dog. I’m not a hot dog person, however a friend had this the day prior and it hit the spot. BRGR Bar is more than a burger joint. The service, atmosphere, and creative menu, are what make this restaurant worth coming back to. The menu has so many options, and it is often difficult to choose. Our favorites include the build-your-own burger & Big Fish, Little Pond sandwich - fresh tuna, seasoned well with sesame seeds and a spicy aioli. During this visit, we also discovered the Bacon Cheese Waffles Fries! The sauce is out of this world. The drink menu is also top-notch - everyone at our table ordered the Smoked Pineapple Margarita *hint hint* 👍
