Everything was actually really good!! I got the 2+2+2. The griddle cakes were amazing, we got the banana walnut one. It tastes like oatmeal made into a pancake, I love it!! The chicken sausage was also really good. Simple menu, great for indecisive people like me. It would be nice if they expanded their drink options! But overall, a great brunch spot and I’m definitely coming back to try the rest of the griddle cakes. Service was also nice.
Hands down - BEST PANCAKES OF MY LIFE. Enough said. Their eggs and sausage are actually good quality, too. Not the 99 cent eggs, y'all! The biggest problem here is the utter confusion of the customers at ordering breakfast at a counter and being prepared to do so after waiting in line, vs waiting in line for 10 minutes, THEN getting to the counter and deciding to start looking over the menu. ;) Good thing they serve delicious mimosas with fresh OJ. But, for real... This place is worth a visit and I am currently trying to find a way to make pancakes with oats. They also do not use syrup because their butter is infused with it... And it is also perfection. Take me back!!!!! Or, better yet, just open one in Austin, Texas. =D #pancakes #nyc #breakfast
Tried the 2+2+2 and a side of potatoes!! It was all absolutely delicious, the pancakes are spectacular! If all healthy pancakes tasted like this, I would eat them more often!! I tried the OG Panckaes because well that’s what they are known for! They do rush you out so it’s quick meal once you are inside. I waited 1 hour for this, but it was worth it.
I had Oatmeal Dark Chocolate Chip Pancake and my friend has Banana Walnut. Both of them are extremely delicious. They are served with Butter. The interiors of the place were amazing. The atmosphere was cozy. We had a wait time of roughly 10 mins on a weekend morning. Highly recommended this place if you are in NY for only a day.
Best. Griddle. Cakes. Period. OMG, if you’re looking for a charming, delicious breakfast, stop scrolling and head to Breakfast by Salt's Cure. The vibe when you walk in is just chef’s kiss—super cute, bright, and instantly makes you feel like your day is going to be good. I ordered the 2+2+2 breakfast (two griddle cakes, two soft scrambled eggs, and two sausage patties) and can we talk about those griddle cakes?! Here's the kicker and a huge win for the gluten-free crowd: they can make any of their cakes gluten-free! I got the “OG” Griddle Cakes (GF, of course) topped with that incredible cinnamon molasses butter. They are thin and perfectly crispy around the edges with a sweet, molten center. Seriously, some of the best I have ever had. My partner ordered the regular banana walnut cake
