Bravos Pizzeria

*Edit: Went back for a half cheese, half 3-toping 18" ($21.11). Crust still tastes like nothing, pizza sauce is ok at best. I'm not coming back after this one and very bummed that the one non-chain pizza joint in Wendell isn't worth going to. TL;DR This pizza is good, but not worth $29(-ish w/tax) per 18". I'd say this is a 6.1/10 on the Dave Portnoy one bite pizza ranking out of the box. I had to toast it for 6min at home and add salt for the taste to noticibly improve. The crust is really weak structurally and taste wise. But the chipilte steak's decent and ingredients taste fresh. Could stand to either really dail it in and nail the gourmet flavors (difficult), or just keep it the same at $23 (w/tax OTD. easy). -- I'd be willing to return if either happened. This is our neighborhood pizzeria and, honestly, some of the better pizza we’ve had in the area. The only issue is consistency—when it’s good, it’s really good, but other times it’s just okay. Even on an off night, though, it’s still better than average. The crust is always solid, but the toppings can be hit or miss. We usually order extra cheese, and sometimes it’s clear we got it… other times, not so much. Same thing with toppings—sometimes they’re packed, other times a bit sparse. The staff is always friendly, and the place has that classic small-town pizzeria feel we like. Our last visit was “just okay,” but the one before that was one of the best we’ve ever had there. It’s definitely a bit unpredictable, but never bad—we’ll keep going, just with adjusted expectations.

Ordered takeout from here last night and really enjoyed the food. We ordered a meat lovers and a white pizza. My wife loves white pizza and she was very happy with it. A lot of the spots we’ve had recently advertise a white pizza, but it’s not the real deal—this was. Meat lovers was really good too. Four stars for the food, but docking one star because of the price. Total price was just over $50 for two large pizzas, which is actually a little insane, imo. If the prices were more reasonable, this is easily a five star joint.

Pizza was overall good. I feel like it's missing some type of flavor that I can exactly pinpoint.

Hands down the best Pizzaria we have had in the state of nc. Good food oh my ..we loved you guys ..and the price yall better get yall some
