Parallax Coffee Lab

We came from Raleigh to visit this coffee shop. I had seen videos on social media and decided to give it a try. It’s definitely one of the better coffee shops that we’ve visited in Wake County. It is a nice open space that is very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The coffee was excellent. I had a brown sugar latte. The coffee had a great flavor and the syrup wasn’t overly sweet. I would definitely return.

If you're looking for a friendly, cozy, welcoming coffee shop that also will deliver consistently high quality beverages, food, and service, Parallax is your place to go. As a judge for national coffee competitions, I tend to have a high standard for coffee shops. Yet I have been blown away by the consistency, intentionality, and quality provided by Parallax on each of my trips. Quality: Parallax brews using beans provided by local-favorite (and personal-favorite) Black & White Coffee Roasters, setting an excellent foundation for the quality level of their beverages. Parallax Coffee is an absolute gem in downtown Wendell. The seasonal menus are always thoughtful and creative, and the matcha tea is a standout every single time. 🍵✨ It’s right around the corner from our office, which makes it our go-to spot for a quick pick-me-up or a reset between busy days. Great coffee, great vibes, and the kind of energy that actually carries you through the day. Highly recommend if you’re local or just passing through.

I visited Parallax for the first time day, and I will definitely be stopping by again the next time I’m in town! The barista who served me was incredibly kind: he went over the menu, gave me the details about the establishment, and was just so friendly! I prefer a high-quality, strong espresso with balanced flavor, and they executed this perfectly. Honey cinnamon latte with oat milk - 10/10. Super cute on the inside; would be a great place to come work. Loved the sweet staff and fantastic coffee - I’ll definitely be in again! :)

I’ve been all over the US and visited many coffee shops in many major cities and I can safely say Parallax is definitely in my top favorite and I’m so glad it’s local!
