Stayed here years ago when I was a newspaper reporter in Wheeling. Lisa is the best. We still make her carrot cake recipe and laugh about her Chuck Yeager story!
Lisa was an incredible host! Beautiful old home with a comfortable cozy atmosphere. Our room was very clean. And our bed was very comfortable with soft sheets. The food that Lisa lovingly made us was excellent and delicious. Loved sitting in the front porch drinking my coffee each morning and admiring her beautiful hydrangeas. My boyfriend and I highly recommend!!
Lisa was a most gracious host. The English Gentleman's guest room was more then we expected and truly a pleasure to stay in. We felt welcomed in by Lisa from the start with the ambiance of the Brass Pineapple Inn. From the first phone call to make reservations until we left, we felt appreciated by Lisa as she handled all of our needs. The wine and chocolate dipped strawberries we requested in the room was very nice and the history of the house conversation with Lisa was enlightening. She made us both a great breakfast of organic foods and the hot tea served in an antique tea cup was a pleasure. While visiting Charleston, the Brass Pineapple Inn will be our home away from home. Thank you Lisa for making both Keri and I feel like family in your beautiful Inn.
Lisa was an excellent hostess! At our request, she shared the history of the home with us while we enjoyed a late afternoon tea upon our arrival. The Brass Pineapple Inn is architecturally stunning and Lisa has added all of the modern conveniences. All of the food is locally sourced when possible, organic and clean. Our breakfast was absolutely gourmet quality and I loved the gluten-free pan bread she made! I highly, highly recommend this place!
We live about an hour’s drive from Charleston. Our son and daughter’s families, who live far away, gave us the gift of this venue for a family celebration of our 50th Anniversary. || We started the evening eating a great dinner at Fazios, where we had courted back in the 1970’s. Then we drove five minutes to the Brass Pineapple, where we were met by Lisa and Greg, who had prepared a delicious after-dinner spread of coffee, tea and treats: everything from pound cake, oatmeal cookies, to healthy no-sugar treats. We used the B&B sitting room to party and watch a video made of our life together. Greg hung a sheet to serve as the screen for viewing our “movie.”||The next morning, I was able to appreciate the many lovely touches of this B&B from its excellent home restoration, to the peri
