We stopped on a snowy winter evening and this is truly one of the most special little spots we’ve had the pleasure of eating at. The food is amazing and the small restaurant is very cozy and unique. This is a one man operation, at least when we were there, so be patient and it will be rewarded with some of the best food you will have in Burlington.

Incredible restaurant!! Me and my wife went here and had the whole place to ourselves. I remarked that I guess I didn't need a reservation but the host replied that it is good we did because he only takes on a few tables at a time and that is because he is the waiter and also the chef! One man does everything at this restaurant which is impressive on its own. It is also BYOB so we had went across the street, to the gas station beforehand and bought a $9 bottle of wine. He opened it, provided glasses and cooked us some amazing alligator gumbo and jambalaya. The food was amazing, the environment was also to match. Can't wait to come back. This resturant has food that nourishes the heart, body, and soul. The portions are generous and prices are unbeatable. An absolute must-visit in Burlington. Best cornbread I've ever tasted.

We had a wonderful time at Bourbon Street LLC. The restaurant is charming, with cute decor and lovely music. Richard is a fantastic host. He is courteous and quick, and the portions are very generous. The food was absolutely delicious; the frog legs were tender, our gumbo was rich and flavorful, and our jambalaya and duck ragoût were perfect comfort foods. We finished off with a slice of Kentucky bourbon pecan pie, and it was a perfect end to a perfect meal. Visit Richard's place for an excellent experience. We will be back soon!

We were finally able to get a reservation at this wonderful little restaurant. The chef/owner/waiter served us spicy frog legs, tasty gator gumbo, cornbread, sausage, jambalaya, and maple pecan pie. Everything is made to order, perfectly spiced, and served hot. I look forward to returning and trying other dishes like the blackened catfish and po boys. It is BYOB and in the winter it is a little chilly, dress on the warmer side and you will be fine.
