FROM WOW to TOXIC What was, for me, an unprecedented public enthusiasm for Borino’s pizza quickly turned into deep regret after every subsequent experience. The first red flag regarding customer service occurred when I called Borino’s specifically to offer praise and appreciation for a delivered stuffed pizza I had enjoyed. The employee who answered the phone and received my enthusiastic feedback responded with audible irritation. Her tone and clipped, dismissive “uh-huhs” made it clear that my call was an inconvenience. The subtext was unmistakable: customer engagement was of no interest to her. The food arrive a bit cold. Upon inspection it looked pretty good. However, the pizza dough was chewy and the cheese wasn’t very tasty. The eggplant had too much bread crumbs and the same cheese as the pizza. The salad had a musty taste. Overall not great. Will not be ordering from here again.

Scouting Pizza for the Pizza Hunters App. Parking can be a challenge when visiting this Pizzeria. Keep your head on a swivel. Very nice at the counter with Customer Service. Very polite and were all about service. They recommended the upside down Sicilian slice. It was good, but the top sauce was cold. The regular slice was an average slice. Enjoyed the Pizza and would try them again.

Love this place for takeout. All my food was absolutely delicious. There was a delay in delivery and the owner personally delivered the food. He was so sweet and apologetic. They are definitely my go to place for Italian takeout.

Best pizzas in NJ! We love the cheesey old grandma pie and the meat lovers with tons of toppings. Must try! You can order one pie with half grandma and half meat lovers.
