Bonito Coffee Roaster

I love coffee above all other beverages, so I wanted to make sure I found the perfect coffee cart (and perfect coffee!) for my Santa Barbara wedding! Bonito Coffee is the best!! Everyone loved the coffee cart, coffee, variety/specialty drinks, and Hasan! Thank you for helping make such an important day even more special :)

Any coffee lover would adore it here. Bonito is an ethical, family-run coffee roaster focused on showcasing single origin beans from the owners' home country of Nicaragua. Their coffee is completely traceable and absolutely delicious. We were lucky to catch the owner and chat for a bit, plus take a peek inside the roastery. A rare company with a loving vision and outstanding product.

As another reviewer has mentioned, I went to their pop up at the Camarillo Outlets on Sunday, 12/28/25. I saw a pretty decently-sized crowd and thought I would give their coffee a try. I ordered an iced Mexican mocha and my girlfriend ordered a hot chocolate with almond milk. Upon receiving my drink, I went for a first sip and the taste was horrendous. There was a spicy aftertaste to the mocha, which if purposeful, would be nice to disclose to customers, as I was not expecting the drink to be spicy. I couldn’t bear to finish the mocha and threw it away after having already walked by to my car. My girlfriend tried the hot chocolate and told me it was extremely watery. I tried the hot chocolate, and sure enough, it tasted watery. I don’t think I will try this pop up again.

Bonito is the best! I tried theirs matcha at the Camarillo farmers market and their customer service is amazing!

I love the friendly people and the service here. I will walk past other vendors to enjoy their excellent coffees before stopping anywhere else! ☕️ 👊💥
